Sensory Boxes

 

Sensory Processing Activity Boxes (SPA) are “do it yourself” sensory boxes developed by Lucinda Anderson who is an occupational therapist and has a masters degree in special education.  The SPA boxes contain the materials for sensory activities and also include instructional pages, which cover both the therapeutic and educational aspects of each sensory activity.

 

The SPA boxes are ideal for children who:

 

• Live in an area where sensory integration therapy is unavailable

• Need more ideas to integrate sensory strategies to enhance learning, behavior, and development
